Green Point Property plans 754,000-SF spec warehouse in Georgetown
The 754,000-square-foot concrete tilt-wall warehouse is set to start in October and finish the shell in November 2027, with a $42 million estimated cost.
Green Point Property plans to build a 754,000-square-foot spec warehouse in Georgetown as part of the GTX Logistics Park, a site that could ultimately total about 3 million square feet of industrial space.
The project will be located at 1000 FM 972, with construction expected to begin in October and the concrete tilt-wall warehouse shell scheduled for completion in November 2027.
The building shell is estimated to cost $42 million, and the Austin Business Journal reports the logistics park is marketing 2.6 million square feet left on the 180 acres Green Point still owns.
ConnectCRE said Georgetown is about 30 miles north of Austin and has a population of nearly 107,000, and noted that leasing at the site is handled by Colliers International Group Inc.’s Travis Hicks and Chase Clancy.
