Capri Global Capital shares surge 9% to over a month high
The stock hit ₹260.85 as about 24.4 million shares traded by 2:45 PM, roughly 3.5 times the average weekly volume, while quarterly net profit more than doubled to ₹353 crore.
Capri Global Capital’s shares jumped 9% on Wednesday, August 26, reaching a more than one-month high of ₹260.85 on heavier trading, even as the broader Indian market stayed largely range-bound, according to LiveMint Markets.
The rally came without an immediately clear fundamental trigger, but volumes picked up sharply, with nearly 24.4 million shares changing hands across the NSE and BSE as of 2:45 PM, about 3.5 times the average weekly volume. The move also extended the stock’s winning streak to three straight sessions, lifting its cumulative gain over the period to 16.5%, based on the day’s high.
For the June-ended quarter, the company reported a sharp earnings improvement, with consolidated net profit more than doubling to ₹353 crore from ₹175 crore a year earlier. Total income rose to ₹1,581 crore from ₹1,005 crore, and interest income increased to ₹1,323 crore from ₹806 crore, while consolidated assets under management climbed 62% year on year to ₹40,112 crore, driven by growth in retail loan segments including gold loans and MSME financing.
Capri Global Capital also set Friday, September 4, 2026, as the record date for a final dividend of ₹0.20 per equity share for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
