EPIC said the new roles also expand oversight for areas including AI and technology, national claims, and mergers and acquisitions.
EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants announced a series of leadership appointments and expanded responsibilities, including Thomas O’Neil as Vice Chairman, as the firm looks to position itself for its next phase of growth, according to Reinsurance News.
The promotions are intended to strengthen EPIC’s leadership bench and deepen expertise across core business areas, while the CEO said the company’s priority remains making it easier for clients to access its full range of offerings and carrier relationships.
O’Neil will continue overseeing EPIC’s regional business operations and take on responsibilities for AI and technology initiatives, national claims, private client, and wholesale strategy. Phil Moyles was appointed Co-President with oversight spanning financial services, employee benefits, life and executive benefits, carrier management and placement strategy, facultative reinsurance investments, and an account retention plan.
EPIC also named Gregg Bundschuh as Co-President to lead organic growth and producer recruiting, while Frank Mammaro expanded his role to a combined CFO/COO position, adding oversight of corporate operations, M&A, human resources, IT, and legal. Marc Kunney became Chief Client Officer, responsible for client experience, client retention, and service delivery, and EPIC said other geographic and executive responsibilities were expanded under the new structure.
