FMLS and MARIS enable native cross-market listing searches
The two-way link lets FMLS subscribers view MARIS data covering more than 130 Missouri and Illinois counties, while MARIS subscribers gain access to FMLS listings across Georgia.
First Multiple Listing Service, known as FMLS, and Mid-America Regional Information Systems, or MARIS, launched a two-way MLS data-sharing partnership that lets subscribers search each other’s listings inside their existing MLS platforms without a separate login. HousingWire reports the integration is designed to expand listing exposure across Georgia, Missouri, and Illinois.
According to HousingWire, FMLS subscribers can view MARIS data spanning more than 130 counties in Missouri and Illinois within the FMLS system, while MARIS’ roughly 15,000 subscribers can see FMLS listing information within MARIS.
The groups said the connection is aimed at helping real estate professionals serve clients who are active across multiple markets, including relocation buyers, second-home purchasers, and investors. They also framed the deal as a way to streamline workflows and reduce duplication costs for brokers and teams operating regionally.
HousingWire also noted that MLS data-sharing agreements have gained traction as more agents handle clients moving or investing outside their home market, and the partnership is positioned as a step toward a more connected MLS ecosystem while maintaining local expertise.
