HomeGoods signs lease for Gresham Station store opening in 2027

The deal calls for about 18,300 square feet at Schnitzer Properties’ Gresham Station shopping center, where HomeGoods will replace former World Market space.

ConnectCRE reports that HomeGoods has signed a retail lease for space at Schnitzer Properties’ Gresham Station Shopping Center in Gresham, Oregon.

The planned HomeGoods store will open in the summer of 2027, taking roughly 18,300 square feet at the center, according to ConnectCRE. The retailer is a subsidiary of TJX, which also operates TJ Maxx.

ConnectCRE said the location previously housed World Market, which moved into an adjacent space within Gresham Station. The shopping center also includes retailers such as Best Buy, Maurices, Ulta, and Old Navy.

ConnectCRE noted that in a market with close to zero new retail construction, large-format retail opportunities are increasingly limited, and that Gresham Station stood out for HomeGoods due to visibility, parking, and its existing retailer lineup.
