XRP nears $1.40 as US spot ETF inflows extend into August
US spot XRP ETFs logged about $23.9 million of net inflows on Aug. 25, extending positive flows to nine straight sessions.
XRP was trading near $1.40 as of press time, after recovering from below $1 and climbing as high as $1.70 during last week's broader crypto market surge. Even with a roughly 5% dip over the past 24 hours, the token is still on course for about a 32% gain in August, its best monthly performance since July 2025.
CryptoSlate reports the rebound is supported by continued demand for US spot exchange traded funds tied to XRP. According to the outlet’s data, the funds recorded about $23.87 million in net inflows on Aug. 25, the largest daily inflow since May 11, and extended net inflows across nine consecutive trading sessions.
The outlet also noted that US spot XRP ETFs have pulled in more than $80 million of fresh capital during August, lifting cumulative net subscriptions to about $1.59 billion since launch. Net assets were roughly $1.46 billion at the end of Tuesday’s session.
At the same time, CryptoSlate said large holders have moved billions of XRP through Binance in recent weeks, adding competing signals about whether the rally is being built for accumulation or distribution. The reporting also points to rising dollar denominated activity on the XRP Ledger, including Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin crossing $2 billion in circulating supply last week, with about $963 million circulating on XRPL as of Aug. 25.
