Hagerty appoints insurance transformation executive
Greg Cicero will help implement Apex, Hagerty’s new policy administration system, aimed at modernizing core insurance operations.
Hagerty has appointed Greg Cicero as vice president of insurance transformation, tasking him with leading the rollout of Apex, the company’s new policy administration system.
Cicero joins after nearly 22 years at Progressive, where his most recent role was customer IT platform owner and he led a 110-person organization responsible for customer systems, including identity management, data warehouses, AI systems, and marketing technology, according to Coverager.
At Hagerty, he will work across the insurer’s insurance and technology teams to modernize core operations and improve the policy lifecycle.
Management also noted that 2026 results remain distorted by accounting changes tied to the Markel fronting transition, while an acquisition expected to triple Hagerty’s UK revenue to about £25 million is expected to follow through on that expansion, Coverager added.
