Corgi and Trucker Path launch data-driven trucking insurance program
The opt-in program is available exclusively to Trucker Path users and uses route-planning data to help underwrite risks like severe weather and cargo-theft corridors.
Corgi and Trucker Path Insurance are launching a trucking insurance program that incorporates route-planning data into underwriting decisions, according to Coverager. The program is opt-in and available exclusively to Trucker Path users.
Under the approach, navigation data is used to evaluate whether fleets avoid risks including severe weather, cargo-theft corridors, road closures, sharp turns, and lane restrictions. Trucker Path says its app is used by more than 1.2 million professional drivers.
The program targets small fleets and offers a mix of coverages, including auto liability, motor truck cargo, physical damage, and general liability. Trucker Path Insurance will serve as agent of record.
Trucker Path is a trucking technology company based in Phoenix, and it says its app provides truck-specific navigation, parking availability, fuel prices, and weigh-station information, plus a freight marketplace. Coverager also notes that Trucker Path Insurance launched in 2025 as a retail agency to connect drivers and small fleets with insurance carriers.
