Sedgwick appoints Jason Rogers to lead carrier and captive solutions
Rogers, who reports to Sedgwick Growth Markets president and Global Chief Marketing Officer Emily Fink, will oversee support for captive insurers, carriers, MGAs and MGUs and help advance the company’s growth platform.
Sedgwick has appointed Jason Rogers as Managing Director, Carrier and Captive Solutions, creating a newly established leadership role to oversee how the firm supports captive insurers and other distribution and underwriting partners. In the role, Rogers will oversee Sedgwick’s activities supporting captive insurers, insurance carriers, Managing General Agents and Managing General Underwriters, with responsibility also tied to advancing and implementing a dedicated growth platform for these markets. Rogers brings more than two decades of insurance sector experience, including work spanning underwriting, brokerage and programme administration. Sedgwick said he previously spent more than 10 years in senior management roles with profit and loss responsibility, team leadership, and support for the development of future industry leaders. Rogers will work within Sedgwick’s Growth Markets division and report to Emily Fink, Global Chief Marketing Officer and President of Growth Markets. Sedgwick emphasized that its investments in colleagues, technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced claims solutions are aimed at creating differentiation and improving claims outcomes for clients.
