Walmart signs 16-year industrial lease in Miami-Dade County

The deal covers about 130,150 square feet at a new Medley warehouse, with a 16-year initial term and three five-year extensions.

Walmart has signed an industrial lease in Miami-Dade County, taking space at Seagis Property Group’s newly completed warehouse in Medley, Commercial Observer reported.

The lease is expected to cover the full 130,150-square-foot building at 10900 Northwest 138th Street, property records show. The 16-year agreement includes three five-year extensions.

The warehouse is a 40-foot-tall facility with two drive-in doors and 46 dock-high doors, according to the report. Walmart’s spokesperson declined to comment, and the landlord representative did not respond to requests for comment.

Seagis completed the warehouse this year after buying the 13.2-acre site for $17.5 million in 2022. Commercial Observer also noted Walmart’s separate recent South Florida activity, including a Palm Beach County parcel purchase in August to build a superstore and a renewed industrial lease in Pompano Beach late last year.
