NFP hires Marsh veteran to lead Atlanta and Nashville P&C
Griffith replaces a key role in the Atlantic region as NFP expands commercial P&C leadership across Atlanta and Nashville, following its July 2025 Levine Group acquisition and a March 2026 captive practice launch.
NFP has named Sarah Griffith senior vice president of property and casualty and market leader for Atlanta and Nashville, extending the insurance broker’s regional build-out under its Atlantic region leadership line, according to Insurance Business.
Griffith is based in Atlanta and reports to Meg McSherry, managing director of P&C for NFP’s Atlantic region. She joins from Marsh Risk, where she spent nearly five years, before taking the Atlanta and Nashville market leader role at NFP.
NFP said the appointment aligns with broader expansion activity in the Atlantic region, including its July 2025 acquisition of Levine Group, a Brentwood, Tennessee financial services firm serving the Nashville area since 1963. In March 2026, the region launched a new P&C group captive practice through the acquisition of Charlotte-based Trinity Risk Advisors.
Griffith brings close to two decades of experience in commercial insurance and risk management, with advisory work across complex corporate and middle-market clients during difficult market conditions, major transactions, and significant claims, the outlet said. Insurance Business added that brokers are adjusting to a changed rate environment, with average commercial P&C premiums falling in the first quarter of 2026 for the first time in nearly nine years, ending a 33-quarter run of increases.
