AgCom doubles flour mill capacity in Pennsylvania with Omas expansion
The New Oxford, Pennsylvania plant now runs two independent Omas milling lines, each rated at 150 t/24h, bringing combined installed capacity to 300 t/24h.
Agricultural Commodities (AgCom) has expanded its flour mill in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, moving from a single milling line to a dual-line configuration supported by Omas Industries, World Grain reports.
The expanded facility will be part of a plant visit for attendees of the IAOM Niagara, Southeastern, Wolverine and Ohio Valley Districts' Joint Meeting on September 18, 2026 in Gettysburg, the outlet said.
According to World Grain, AgCom commissioned the first Omas milling line in a relationship that began in 2018, with Mill A originally designed for 160 t/24h. After several years, AgCom sought more production capacity while maintaining reliability, product quality, and operating efficiency.
World Grain adds that the expansion introduced Mill B, a new soft wheat milling line designed for 150 t/24h, developed in cooperation with Omas' long-standing American partner Bratney. Today, the site operates two independent Omas milling lines, each rated at 150 t/24h, for combined installed capacity of 300 t/24h.
