Republic Clothing takes full tenancy of 1411 Broadway under 15-year lease
The apparel maker will occupy the tower’s fifth and 34th floors plus part of the sixth floor, in a deal that follows a $100 million repositioning of the Midtown building.
Commercial Observer reports that Republic Clothing has swapped a sublease for full tenancy at 1411 Broadway, signing a direct 15-year lease covering 81,000 square feet.
The tenant will occupy the entirety of the 40-story tower’s fifth and 34th floors, along with a portion of the sixth floor. The building is co-owned by La Caisse, formerly Ivanhoe Cambridge, and the Swig Company.
The lease is part of a trio of recent office agreements totaling 182,044 square feet at the Midtown property. CBRE and Hines represented ownership, while Scott Weiss of Savills negotiated for Republic Clothing.
Commercial Observer also notes that the tower’s recent activity includes Zeta Global and Amorepacific signing 50,522-square-foot leases each. Ownership attributed demand for full-floor deals to a $100 million repositioning that modernized the building, with a new rooftop amenity slated for early 2028.
