Aviva rolls out Aviva Premier for larger, complex UK commercial clients

The new offering bundles tailored underwriting and claims support, along with dedicated regional managers and underinsurance protection for larger mid-market firms.

Aviva has launched Aviva Premier, a new commercial insurance proposition for larger mid-market businesses in the UK with more complex risks, according to Coverager.

The package combines tailored underwriting, claims and risk-management support, regional client relationship managers, dedicated risk consultants, valuation services, claims-preparation assistance, and enhanced underinsurance protection. For claims specifically, Aviva Premier includes dedicated claims teams and a named claims service manager.

Aviva Premier comes after the insurer refocused its UK Commercial Lines unit to target growth among larger and more complex clients, and Aviva said the move is intended to give brokers a more aligned proposition and a simpler way to trade with the company.

The offering includes five products, Directors and Officers, Fund Directors and Officers Liability, Investment Management Insurance, Professional Indemnity, and Crime cover.
