Palo Alto CEO warns AI is forcing modernization of $1 trillion of security
Palo Alto CEO Nikesh Arora said AI is making many older cybersecurity systems vulnerable to new forms of attack.
CNBC World reports that Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora said AI is pushing companies to modernize cybersecurity infrastructure that he estimates totals about $1 trillion.
Arora said much of that infrastructure is aging and is not equipped to handle attacks enabled or intensified by AI, creating urgency for upgrades.
The remarks highlight a broader shift in cybersecurity spending priorities as organizations reassess how their security stacks can withstand evolving threats driven by artificial intelligence.
