Fidelis Partnership hires Hannover Re veteran Helen Wilson as CUO
The reinsurance firm also added Sarah Ching to lead international property treaty underwriting, expanding coverage across the Asia Pacific region.
The Fidelis Partnership has appointed Helen Wilson from Hannover Re as its Reinsurance Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), strengthening the firm’s underwriting leadership in Bermuda.
Wilson previously worked as a Senior Underwriter at Hannover Re in Bermuda and spent more than 10 years at QBE across Bermuda, Sydney, and London. She also brings more than two decades of experience spanning reinsurance underwriting, catastrophe modelling, analytics, and business transformation.
The firm said Sarah Ching, who joins from MS Amlin, will serve as Senior Underwriter, International Property. Ching has 13 years of property treaty underwriting experience, most recently managing an Asia Pacific portfolio from MS Amlin’s office in Singapore.
Fidelis Partnership said the appointments further bolster its underwriting capability and support growth of its regional footprint, noting that over the past 18 months it expanded senior underwriting and actuarial presence in Bermuda and launched two Bermuda-based Pine Walk cells, Mezura Capital Partners and Adroit Underwriting.
