Marsh creates Europe Head of Insurance Practice role for Florian-Jansen
The newly created position is effective immediately and is based in Düsseldorf, with Marsh naming Matthias Grass as successor at Marsh Risk Germany.
Global professional services firm Marsh has appointed Jens Florian-Jansen as Head of its Insurance Practice, Europe, in a newly created role effective immediately.
Florian-Jansen will be based in Düsseldorf and report to Julian Enoizi, CEO of Marsh Re Europe, where Marsh said he will lead the practice across Europe by uniting the firm’s insurance, investments, capital markets, advisory, talent, and digital capabilities for insurance and reinsurance clients.
Marsh also named Matthias Grass, formerly CFO of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, to succeed Florian-Jansen as President of Marsh Risk Germany, effective immediately. Grass will be based in Munich and report to Achim Lüder, CEO of Marsh Germany, Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.
In describing the leadership changes, Marsh said Florian-Jansen will strengthen an integrated service model aimed at helping insurers and reinsurers enhance resilience, adapt business models, and manage organizational transformation, while Grass will focus on growing Marsh Risk Germany and deepening client relationships and advisory capabilities.
