OpenSea expands OS2 to include Solana NFT trading
OpenSea’s August 31 launch lets users browse, buy, sell, trade, and bid on Solana NFT collections without switching wallets or using other marketplaces.
OpenSea has added Solana NFTs to its OS2 marketplace, enabling collectors to browse, buy, and sell Solana digital collectibles through the same platform where they trade fungible tokens. The change, scheduled to launch August 31, expands OpenSea’s Solana offering beyond fungible assets.
OpenSea said collectors will not need to switch wallets or visit multiple marketplaces to trade Solana NFTs, positioning OS2 as a single venue for both access and transactions. The company also framed the update as an additional distribution channel for Solana creators, while naming several collections expected at launch.
Among the collections listed for the OS2 launch are Claynosaurz, Mad Lads, Collector Crypt, and Phygitals. OpenSea said Solana NFTs will sit alongside assets from more than 25 blockchains supported by the marketplace.
The OS2 Solana expansion follows OpenSea’s May 2025 release, which introduced fungible token trading across 19 chains including Solana. OpenSea previously announced an “initial beta” for Solana in April 2022, but did not specify how many collections were included or what trading functions it covered.
