Evergreen Development to build 261-unit mixed-use community in Mesa
The project on an 11.7-acre Eastmark site includes about 8,500 square feet of retail, with groundbreak expected in Q1 2027.
Evergreen Development acquired an 11.7-acre parcel in Mesa’s Eastmark submarket, north of Signal Butte and Warner, to build a mixed-use community that combines multifamily housing with new retail, according to ConnectCRE.
The multifamily component will feature 261 apartment units across nine three-story buildings. Residents will have access to an amenitized clubhouse, a pool, a fitness center, and outdoor gathering spaces with TVs, BBQ stations, fire pits, and a dog park.
Evergreen also plans an approximately 8,500-square-foot multi-tenant retail building for restaurant and retail uses. The company expects to break ground in the first quarter of 2027, with lease-up beginning in the second quarter of 2028.
ConnectCRE said Evergreen purchased the site from Brookfield, and that the project adds to the company’s recent construction activity, including 482 units started across two developments over the past 12 months.
