ORIX buys three multifamily properties totaling 1,029 units

The acquisitions cover 241 units in Dripping Springs, Texas, plus 365 units in Katy, and 423 units in Georgia, for about $200 million total.

ORIX Corporation USA, via an affiliate, has acquired three multifamily properties totaling 1,029 units across Texas and Georgia, expanding its multifamily equity portfolio in the US, according to ConnectCRE.

The Texas purchases include Lookout, a 241-unit Class A+ multifamily community in Dripping Springs outside Austin that was completed in 2025. ConnectCRE said ORIX USA bought the property at a discount to replacement cost and plans to stabilize it while investing in technology, amenities, and other enhancements.

The second Texas asset is Vic at Jordan Ranch, a 365-unit Class A garden-style community in Katy. The property is already stabilized within the Jordan Ranch master-planned community, where ConnectCRE said continued growth and future development are expected to support the location.

The third acquisition is a 423-unit multifamily property in Georgia. ConnectCRE said the deals together represent approximately $200 million in aggregate value and reflect ORIX USA’s ongoing investment in residential real estate across the United States.
