Experian launches credit card shopping app on ChatGPT
The app lets users compare annual fees, introductory bonuses, rewards rates and APRs, and redirects eligible users to Experian for credit profile matched offers.
Experian has launched a credit card shopping app on ChatGPT that lets users discover and compare credit card offers from its partner network without leaving the conversation, according to Coverager.
Users can compare key card terms including annual fees, introductory bonuses, rewards rates and APRs, while those seeking personalized offers are directed to Experian to view cards matched to their credit profile, including eligible preapproved and No Ding Decline offers.
The launch expands Experian’s use of conversational AI across loans, insurance and credit cards, and the company said it plans to add more personalized experiences and expand lender participation.
Coverager adds that Avant is among the lenders participating in Experian’s personal loan marketplace, and that Experian’s acquisition of Support Hub, launched in 2023, added 10 billion email addresses and real time email activity signals to its data assets, with organizations such as HSBC UK, Nationwide Building Society and Monzo included in the support hub offering.
