Eirion launches inland marine program with up to $25 million capacity

The program can be underwritten on an admitted or non-admitted basis nationwide using AAIS and proprietary forms.

Specialty MGA Eirion Risk Underwriters has launched an inland marine program offering up to $25 million in capacity across all 50 states, with backing from A+ rated capacity, according to Coverager.

The program can be written on an admitted or non-admitted basis using AAIS and proprietary forms, and it allows multiple coverages to be combined under a single policy.

Coverage areas include contractors’ equipment, installation floaters, riggers legal liability, equipment sales and rental, mobile medical equipment, scheduled property, bailees’ exposures, and radio and television tower equipment.

Eirion said founder Kellan Quinn will oversee the program’s underwriting strategy, while assistant vice president Megan Rutherford, who joined from Starr Specialty, will manage daily underwriting and producer relationships; Coverager also reported the MGA has underwritten more than $350 million in gross written premium.
