Rokstone Agriculture hits $125 million in premiums since 2021 launch
The Kentucky-based specialty MGA said it wrote $34 million in gross written premium in the 12 months to June 2026 and is now licensed in 47 states.
Livestock and equine coverage remains a small, specialist area of insurance where standard carriers rarely compete, and Rokstone Agriculture says it has built scale by operating through a delegated underwriting model. Insurance Business reports the Kentucky-based managing general underwriter, part of specialty MGA Rokstone, has written $125 million in premium since launching in 2021.
The firm said gross written premium totaled $34 million in the 12 months to June 2026. Over the same period, it reported processing 32,500 admitted and non-admitted transactions and placing 16,750 new policies.
Rokstone Agriculture is licensed across 47 US states and draws capacity totaling $30 million from four A-rated Lloyd's partners, Accelerant, Professional Solutions, Canopius, and AXA XL. The partners provide full delegated underwriting and claims authority, while the division runs its own in-house third-party administrator, Verus Claims Management, with 24/7 claims response and electronic check settlement.
The outlet links the growth outlook to demand drivers in agricultural coverage, including weather volatility and expanding livestock operations. It also points to market consolidation, citing Relation Insurance's February acquisition of Thorn Creek Insurance Services, and says Rokstone Agriculture has expanded its product range across owned and non-owned livestock and equine exposures.
