UK departures disrupted by air traffic control technical issue
Heathrow said the problem was affecting some departing flights, while arriving flights were not currently affected.
A technical issue at UK air traffic control provider NATS disrupted some departing flights across Britain, according to Heathrow Airport, which said arriving flights were not currently affected.
The Guardian Business reports that Heathrow is working with NATS to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, with multiple airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Southend, the Isle of Man and Jersey affected.
In the same business live updates, the outlet also noted that Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey warned that the oil price could be higher, as MPs questioned him in parliament.
