Acadia Realty Trust buys SoHo mixed-use buildings for $60 million
The REIT paid $29.4 million for 69 Greene Street and $30.6 million for 71 to 73 Greene Street in two separate transactions.
Acadia Realty Trust has acquired two interconnected mixed-use buildings on SoHo’s Greene Street, according to city records made public Tuesday.
The REIT bought 69 Greene Street for $29.4 million and 71 to 73 Greene Street for $30.6 million from New York City-based JSRE Acquisitions, for a combined purchase price of $60 million, with the deal completed through two separate transactions.
Amiri, a streetwear boutique, is currently listed as a retail tenant at the base of the properties, and records show the buildings last sold for $33 million in 2012.
Commercial Observer reports the purchase reflects Acadia’s continued focus on retail properties along Greene Street and across New York City, including additional acquisitions noted in the story.
