Admiral relaunches excess professional liability product AdmiralPro Excess
The updated AdmiralPro Excess is designed for follow-form coverage across multiple underlying policies and carriers, and includes expanded support for emerging risks such as drone liability and cyber events.
Admiral Insurance Group, a W. R. Berkley company, has relaunched AdmiralPro Excess, its excess professional liability product distributed exclusively through wholesale brokers. The insurer said the updated offering provides follow-form coverage across multiple underlying policies and carriers.
The product can also be layered above policies that combine professional liability and casualty coverage, with casualty written on either an occurrence or claims-made basis. Admiral redesigned the policy form and endorsements to let coverage terms be tailored to individual risks.
Admiral also updated its quotes, binders, declarations, and underlying insurance schedules to provide clearer information about coverage, limits, and policy terms. In addition, AdmiralPro Design is intended to cover both traditional and emerging risks, including drone liability, building information modeling integration, AI-assisted design, technology-enabled services and products, and cyber events.
Coverager reports that AdmiralPro Excess reflects a focus on evolving solutions and underwriting so appointed brokers can write more business while delivering the right coverage to clients. Nir Gabay, senior vice president of professional liability underwriting, said the relaunch is a new and improved approach built to support brokers and insureds.
