Davis and Intersect to build 462,000-sf distribution center in Gastonia

The Class A cross-dock project is set to include 100 dock doors and target completion in January 2027.

Davis Companies and its joint venture partner Intersect Development Group are teaming up to deliver a Class A distribution building in Gastonia, North Carolina, at 2550 Jenkins Dairy Road, according to ConnectCRE.

The planned 462,000 square-foot facility is designed as a cross-dock building to serve modern logistics and manufacturing users, and it will feature 40-foot clear height, 100 dock doors, and an ESFR sprinkler system.

The site will also include 215 trailer parking spaces and 328 auto parking spaces, alongside a fully circulating loop road and a secured truck court intended to support either a single-user or multi-tenant configuration.

ConnectCRE said the expected completion date is January 2027, and the location west of Charlotte along Interstate 85 is aimed at providing international connectivity with access for potential tenant operations and workforce needs.
