Goldenrod advances $400M Fort Worth mixed-use development projects

The Van Zandt will include 226 apartments and 100,000 square feet of office space, with tenant improvements expected mid next year.

Goldenrod has reached a major construction milestone on two Fort Worth mixed-use projects, placing the highest structural beam at the Van Zandt development, according to ConnectCRE.

The Van Zandt project is planned for the 2800 block of West Seventh Street and is slated to include 100,000 square feet of offices, 226 apartments, and 13,000 square feet of retail space.

Goldenrod also has another nearby project in the works, One University on the 3000 block of Morton Street, with about 115,000 square feet of offices, 242 apartments, and a 176-key Autograph Collection hotel called The Tycoon.

Both projects are expected to cost a combined $400 million. ConnectCRE notes Goldenrod has not yet announced tenants for Van Zant, and that the development is scheduled to deliver tenant improvement space in the middle of next year.
