Morrisons teams with Instaleap to streamline online grocery fulfilment
The partnership uses Instaleap's system to route orders from marketplace partners like Uber Eats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo into a single unified platform for in-store picking.
Morrisons has partnered with Instaleap, an e-commerce fulfilment provider owned by Instacart, to upgrade how online grocery orders are handled from checkout through in-store fulfilment.
Through Instaleap's technology, Morrisons will be able to manage orders coming from marketplace partners, including Uber Eats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo, using one unified system, with Instaleap's in-store picking application designed to help staff pick and fulfil orders more efficiently.
The deal builds on Morrisons' existing relationship with Instacart and is intended to create a more seamless shopping experience across online and physical stores.
For Instacart, the agreement is part of a broader effort to grow its enterprise platform internationally, and follows Instacart's April acquisition of Instaleap to expand fulfilment and retail technology offerings across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
