Zurich UK expands SME liability trades across e-trading platforms
The expanded Combined Liability offering adds access to more than 1,400 additional trades and supports 12-month liability-only coverage, with a five-year capacity arrangement of over $400 million.
Zurich UK has expanded its SME e-trading offering by launching its Combined Liability product on Acturis Open Market and Zurich Online, giving brokers access to more than 1,400 additional trades.
The insurer said the product allows brokers to quote and bind liability-only coverage through either platform, building on Zurich’s existing SME Commercial Combined infrastructure to help describe customers’ activities more accurately and tailor quotations to risk.
Zurich also said the coverage is issued for a 12-month period and is based on Zurich Select, a policy currently used by county, district and borough councils, and that the five-year arrangement provides over $400 million of cross-class property, casualty and motor capacity.
The company added that the rollout makes it the first insurer to enable a modular core cover approach within this product structure on Acturis, and it highlighted growth in its Club Blue broker program to 167 brokers.
