Indian investors watch Fino Payments, Texmaco Rail for new catalysts on Sept 11
Texmaco Rail secured a ₹27.82 crore order tied to Hindalco’s Aditya Expansion Project, while Fino Payments Bank reported a 12% year-on-year rise in August deposits to ₹2,821 crore.
Indian stock investors are set to focus on several companies on Friday, September 11, as corporate updates including order wins, regulatory certifications, and fundraising plans are expected to keep specific names in play, according to LiveMint Markets.
In Thursday trade, India’s Nifty 50 gained 0.20% to close at 23,477 and the S&P BSE Sensex rose 0.19% to 74,902, helped by buying in selected financial stocks that snapped a three-day losing streak, though broader markets finished lower with Nifty Midcap 100 down 0.4% and Nifty Smallcap 100 down 0.1%.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering secured an order worth ₹27.82 crore from Hindalco Industries for supply of one BTAP rake and one brake van for the Aditya Expansion Project, with execution planned within eight months from the purchase order date.
Fino Payments Bank, one of the other focus names, reported average total deposits of ₹2,821 crore in August, up 12% year-on-year from ₹2,509 crore, alongside a 367% jump in loan referral disbursals to ₹243 crore and a 17% rise in cash management services throughput to ₹6,669 crore, though transaction throughput fell 19% to ₹3,770 crore and deposit accounts opened declined 22% to 2.43 lakh. Poonawalla Fincorp also approved the issuance of secured, redeemable, rated and listed NCDs through private placement up to ₹2,000 crore, including a base size of ₹100 crore and a green shoe option of ₹400 crore. Meanwhile, Sterlite Technologies introduced plenum-rated optical fibre trunk assemblies for AI data centers, and Responsive Industries said its board will meet on September 17, 2026, to consider a proposal to buy back equity shares.
