Ocrolus integrates with Freddie Mac AIM Check for earlier income checks

The AIM Check API lets lenders submit extracted W-2 and pay stub income data for an earlier assessment before completing a full Loan Product Advisor submission.

HousingWire reports that Ocrolus has integrated with Freddie Mac’s AIM Check application programming interface, enabling mortgage lenders to send extracted borrower income data earlier in the origination workflow.

With the integration, lenders using Ocrolus Analyze can submit income information derived from documents such as W-2s and pay stubs to Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor asset and income modeler, AIM.

HousingWire says the goal is to support earlier preapproval and income assessments, while also reducing manual touchpoints and eliminating the need to reenter the same income data for a full submission.

Ocrolus also said the approach is intended to improve repayment capacity evaluation sooner in the process, reduce manual work that it views as time consuming in mortgage origination, and streamline income calculations.
