RB Jones Global launches specialist MGA in Dubai’s DIFC
The new underwriting platform will focus on large, complex risks in property and construction, plus renewables and power generation, for clients across the Middle East and South Asia.
RB Jones Global has launched RB Jones DIFC, a specialist managing general agent in the Dubai International Financial Centre intended to expand the firm’s international underwriting offering with tailored risk solutions.
The MGA will underwrite large and complex risks across property and construction, as well as renewables and power generation, serving clients across the Middle East and South Asia, with an emphasis on providing local support for brokers and insureds.
Initial capacity will be provided by a consortium led by Munich Re, with participation from Atain, a fellow H.W. Kaufman Group company, according to Reinsurance News.
RB Jones DIFC will be led by Zafar Vokhidov as CEO and SEO, and the company said it is live following earlier launches of RB Jones Credit in London and the establishment of RB Jones Aviation Finance, with plans to grow its offering into 2027 and beyond.
