Truepic and ISB Global partner to provide authenticated claims visuals
The integration is designed to let Canadian insurers order authenticated photo and video inspections through the ISB Portal workflow, with media validated by automated fraud and integrity checks before returning to the claim file.
Truepic has partnered with ISB Global Services to provide Canadian insurers with authenticated photo and video inspections to support insurance claims decisions, according to Life Insurance International.
The integration connects Truepic’s image and video authentication and analysis technology with ISB Global’s ISB Portal, which carriers use for claims, underwriting, fraud prevention, and investigation tools. Under the arrangement, adjusters can order visual evidence from Truepic through the ISB Portal when claims require it.
ISB Global said policyholders complete a guided mobile capture process, and the resulting photos and videos are validated by more than 50 automated integrity and fraud detection checks before being returned to the claim file within minutes. The companies said the goal is to reduce reliance on costly in-person inspections as AI-generated and manipulated images are increasingly used in fraud.
Truepic said its technology has been used to verify hundreds of millions of images and videos for large enterprises, and the partnership is intended to address photo fraud as a growing threat in claims.
