Willis appoints Trevor Madden to lead APAC captive and insurance solutions
The appointment takes effect 1 November 2026 and Madden will succeed Joyce Chua as Willis, a WTW business, reorganizes its APAC captive management leadership.
Willis, a WTW business, has named Trevor Madden as Head of Captive and Insurance Management Solutions for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, with an effective start date of 1 November 2026.
In the role, Madden will lead the firm’s regional captive and insurance management solutions business unit, succeeding Joyce Chua, who is leaving Willis to pursue personal priorities.
Madden brings more than 35 years of experience across international insurance and reinsurance, including captive management, underwriting, regulatory governance, risk management, and business development. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of WTW’s captive management operation in Dublin, where he held senior leadership roles since 2003.
The move follows Willis leadership commentary that captives and alternative risk financing are increasingly strategic for organizations managing risk, deploying capital, and improving resilience, with growing interest in more sophisticated approaches across the region, according to Willis executives quoted in the announcement.
