ANV names Sarthak Sharma to lead US transactional risk unit
Sharma will oversee business development and broker engagement as ANV expands its US Transactional Risk platform for complex M&A transactions.
ANV Group Holdings Ltd. has appointed Sarthak Sharma to lead its US Transactional Risk business, the global insurance intermediary platform said. The firm also announced that Colin Addy and Greg Conroy have left ANV to pursue other opportunities.
Sharma joins ANV with almost 10 years of experience spanning insurance and law, including work across transactional risk, underwriting, and mergers and acquisitions. In his new role, he is responsible for the US Transactional Risk team, including business development, broker engagement, and delivering insurance solutions for complex M&A deals.
ANV said Sharma previously served as Senior Vice President and Counsel for Mergers and Acquisitions at Ryan Transactional Risk, where he focused on representations and warranties insurance and advised on complex M&A transactions involving brokers, strategic buyers, and private equity firms.
ANV Executive Vice President Aaron Basilius said Sharma’s transactional risk, underwriting, and legal background will support continued growth of the US Transactional Risk platform. The company thanked Addy and Conroy for their contributions to developing the operation.
