ARK Venture Fund to tokenize private venture exposure on Ethereum
CoinDesk says the tokenized offering will start on Ethereum and could expand to other chains later.
Cathie Wood’s ARK teams are working with Securitize to tokenize the ARK Venture Fund, aiming to bring exposure to private tech companies to investors via blockchain.
According to CoinDesk, the program will launch first on Ethereum, with the possibility of expanding to additional networks in the future.
The effort is designed to deliver onchain access to private-market holdings, including stakes in private firms that the report describes as highly sought after.
