Solana Foundation adds Binance and Polygon veterans to tokenized finance push

CoinDesk says Solana is using the hires to better support institutional use cases for moving payments and assets on-chain.

The Solana Foundation has hired two veterans, Rachel Conlan and Jamal Raees, as it steps up its push to expand tokenized finance on the Solana blockchain, CoinDesk reported.

According to CoinDesk, the new hires are expected to help the foundation pursue institutions that are interested in using on-chain rails for payments and for holding or moving assets.

The appointments reflect Solana's effort to broaden its appeal beyond retail users as the network targets more mainstream financial workflows, CoinDesk added.
