CLARA Analytics launches agentic AI platform for claims optimization

The new platform, built into CLARAty.ai, deploys AI agents on every workers’ comp and casualty claim from first notice of loss through resolution, while adjusters keep decision control.

CLARA Analytics, an AI technology provider for insurance claims optimization, has launched Agentic Intelligence, a platform designed to function as an end-to-end AI workforce for complex casualty and workers’ comp claims, while keeping adjusters in control of decisions.

According to Reinsurance News, Agentic Intelligence is built into the CLARAty.ai platform and places a team of AI agents on every claim from first notice of loss through resolution. The agents work inside the claim file, using a 10-year proprietary data set of historical outcomes to evaluate how claims develop and to surface real-time changes in severity, litigation potential, fraud risk, and closure opportunities.

The platform leverages self-learning data pipelines and a dataset comprising more than 7 million claims, with capabilities aimed at resolving missing data in real time. CLARA says it replaces rigid rules with dynamic querying to deliver tailored intelligence, and it is intended to reduce manual coding to accelerate deployment.

CLARA Analytics also said the system is meant to provide adjusters with instant access to the source of scoring and how current the underlying data is, so teams do not have to chase down source documents. The company added that adjusters retain decision-making authority, with the platform intended to deliver an evidence trail behind those decisions.
