Gulf Coast Crating leases 428K SF spec industrial space in Baytown
The company plans to invest $57.5M in a 321K SF facility, with operations expected to begin in May and the project creating 65 jobs.
Bisnow reports that Gulf Coast Crating Inc. leased an entire 428,000 square foot speculative industrial building at Baytown 146.
The Baytown 146 development, developed by Velocis, includes two buildings totaling 749,000 square feet near FM 1405 and State Highway 146, east of the Houston Ship Channel.
East Coast Warehouse & Distribution leased Building 1 late last year, and Gulf Coast Crating said it will invest $57.5 million in the 321,000 square foot facility, establishing its first Texas operation.
According to Bisnow, the investment is expected to create 65 jobs and operations are slated to begin in May, while Building 2 was complete as of December and is available for sale or lease.
