MetroList, NNRMLS and ODS launch Orion Real Estate Data Exchange

Phase one provides real time listings across parts of California, Nevada and Oregon within a Rapattoni-powered user environment, with primary MLS feeds planned later.

MetroList, Northern Nevada Regional MLS and Oregon Data Share have launched the Orion Real Estate Data Exchange, a shared data layer intended to support multistate access to real time listings across California, Nevada and Oregon, HousingWire reports.

The initiative is designed to supplement participating MLS systems rather than replace them. In the first phase, members of the three MLSs get access to listings across all participating markets through a professional user environment powered by Rapattoni.

The partners said Orion acts as a scalable repository for shared data, with later phases aiming to feed that information directly into each MLSs primary system in a more structured way.

Rapattoni is set to underpin the initial member experience, while the roadmap includes deeper data sharing over time as the network expands.
