Katie Murrell joins Miller to lead specialist sports and entertainment insurance
Murrell will be based in London and report to David Griffiths, Senior Director of Sport & Entertainment.
Independent specialist re/insurance broker Miller has appointed Katie Murrell as Director of Sport, Entertainment, Corporate & A&H, tasking her with delivering specialist insurance solutions for sports- and entertainment-focused clients, according to Reinsurance News.
Murrell joins Miller from Tysers Insurance Brokers, bringing 15 years of experience in the insurance market, with experience spanning Financial Lines, Contingency and Corporate insurance, with a focus on entertainment and sports.
In her new role, Murrell will be based in London and report to David Griffiths, Senior Director of Sport & Entertainment, with responsibility for risk and exposure across a range of sports and entertainment verticals.
Miller said the sports and entertainment landscape is becoming more complex, and highlighted Murrell’s experience as strengthening its ability to design and place tailored programmes for major events and high-profile clients.
