Palo Alto CEO says slowing AI is unrealistic, extinction threat minimal

CNBC Markets reports that Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora said slowing down AI is unrealistic, adding that the chance of an AI-led extinction scenario is extremely small.

The outlet said Arora’s position aligns closely with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who has a different view than the leaders of Anthropic and OpenAI.
