Sammaan Capital shares fall 6% in two weeks as turnaround thesis grows
Ventura Capital expects total advances to rise from ₹33,899 crore in FY26 to ₹89,516 crore by FY29E, with NII projected to climb from ₹2,200.1 crore to ₹7,377.2 crore.
Sammaan Capital Limited shares ended lower on Thursday, reversing gains from the prior session, with the stock down 6% over the past two weeks and off nearly 18% over three months, according to LiveMint Markets.
The housing finance company is in an early stage re-rating after moving past a distressed phase, Ventura Capital said, projecting nearly 148% upside over two years and initiating a Buy rating with a target price of ₹377 per share. Ventura pegged its view to an expected expansion in credit growth and profitability.
Ventura forecasts total advances to increase from ₹33,899 crore in FY26 to ₹89,516 crore by FY29E, implying a 38% CAGR, while borrowings are projected to rise from ₹44,314 crore to ₹80,645 crore at a 22% CAGR. The brokerage also expects NII to grow from ₹2,200.1 crore to ₹7,377.2 crore.
On Thursday, the stock closed 2.56% lower at ₹140.70 on BSE, giving it a market capitalization of ₹16,342.91 crore. The shares traded between an intraday high of ₹144.45 and a low of ₹140.05, with the stock previously reaching a 52-week high of ₹192.90 on November 3, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹129.00 on March 23, 2025.
