Bitcoin rebounds to $85,222 as risk sentiment improves
The rally lifted Ethereum more than 4.3% to about $2,747 on September 21.
ETF Trends, citing comments from VettaFi Head of Sector and Industry Research Roxanna Islam on Bloomberg TV, said bitcoin rallied to an eight month high on September 21, rising 5.1% to $85,222.
Islam pointed to resilience despite a recent Federal Reserve interest rate hike and delays to the CLARITY Act, describing those as events that could have been headwinds but noting bitcoin bounced back after dipping to around $75,000.
The story said bitcoin fell to the $75,000 area at some point but recovered to about $80,000 by the end of the week.
It also reported that ethereum joined the move, jumping more than 4.3% to about $2,747 on September 21.
