Corn Refiners Association hires Jonathan Stephens as project and policy manager

Stephens will also support the Plant Based Products Council’s membership recruitment efforts while working on CRA programs including the Carbohydrate Check Sample Program and the weekly CRA Trade Update.

The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) has hired Jonathan Stephens as its new project and policy manager, adding to the staff supporting the US corn refining industry, according to World Grain.

CRA said the role will support efforts including the Carbohydrate Check Sample Program, the weekly CRA Trade Update, and association research.

Stephens joins the CRA from Mathematica Inc., where he worked as a research assistant analyzing school meal costs and food quality for the National School Foods Study, World Grain reported.

The association also said he will support the Plant Based Products Council’s membership recruitment efforts, and that Stephens holds a bachelor’s degree in food science from the University of Florida.
