Groupama expands Continuity AI tools across France branches
The partnership began as a pilot in 2021 and covers Groupama’s nine mainland regional branches by 2025, with more than 160 employees using the tools.
Groupama has signed a multi-year agreement with Continuity to roll out Continuity’s AI-based risk management tools across the insurer’s nine regional branches in mainland France, covering its professional and corporate P&C business. The partnership started as a pilot with Groupama Centre-Atlantique in 2021 before expanding to all nine branches by 2025, according to Coverager.
Continuity’s portfolio monitoring tool is designed to review existing policies for information that may need updating or closer examination. Its underwriting assistant brings together information needed to assess applications and applies the underwriting rules of each Groupama entity, and it has been rolled out to more than 160 employees.
The companies said the tools are intended to support underwriters as risks evolve during the life of a policy, as well as at the point when coverage is first written. Coverager reports that the collaboration also ties in with Groupama’s health division, VIASANTÉ, and its online marketplace.
