JV breaks ground on 1M-SF warehouse in Haslet

ConnectCRE reports a joint venture involving NorthPoint Development, Olympus Ventures, and a local family partnership has broken ground on a 1 million-square-foot industrial project in Haslet, about 25 miles north of Fort Worth.

The initial building is Building 1 of Intermodal Logistics Center West, which the outlet says is planned to span 1,000 acres and include nine buildings totaling 8.4 million square feet, with an estimated $750 million capital investment.

ConnectCRE adds that Building 1 will include a cross-dock configuration, 40-foot clear heights, 100 dock doors, four oversized ramp doors, and parking for 750 cars and 194 trailers, with trailer parking expandable to 404.

CBRE is listed as the building’s leasing agent, and BNSF is set to provide intermodal connectivity, according to ConnectCRE.
