Liberty Mutual appoints leaders for capital and insurance solutions
Liberty Mutual created a new head of capital solutions role within Global Risk Solutions, effective September 28, and tied it to expanding how the unit deploys capital.
Insurance Business reports that Liberty Mutual announced leadership changes across its Global Risk Solutions and investment arms, including new roles focused on linking underwriting capabilities with capital markets.
Shaun Sinniah was appointed head of capital solutions for Liberty Mutual's Global Risk Solutions, effective September 28, reporting to GRS president Matthew Moore. The role is newly created and is intended to develop new business opportunities and expand how GRS deploys capital to create value for customers and partners.
The outlet also said Liberty Mutual Investments hired Paschal Brooks as managing director and head of insurance solutions and capital markets, effective September, as part of broader steps to strengthen coordination between insurance and capital markets. Insurance Business added that Moore described Sinniah as a key addition as Liberty builds toward its 2030 ambition to be a global insurance and capital solutions partner.
