AI agents cut the estimated cost to build quantum-safe Bitcoin transactions

Decrypt reports an open competition reduced the estimated cost of creating a quantum-safe Bitcoin transaction from about $320 to roughly $67, with AI models leading the results.

An open competition organized by StarkWare, Yukon Research, and Eigen Labs aimed to make quantum-safe Bitcoin cheaper, and it appears to have done so quickly, according to Decrypt.

In the competition, the estimated cost of building a quantum-safe Bitcoin transaction fell from about $320 to roughly $67.

AI models topped the leaderboards in the effort, helping drive the cost reduction as participants pursued more efficient approaches to quantum-safe transactions.
